Leah’s Pantry: Fruits

We will discuss the various health benefits of fruits and how to incorporate them into our daily food choices. We will focus on how certain fruits may lower the risk of diabetes, help prevent cancer, protects the brain from degenerative brain issues such as Alzheimer’s, and reduces systematic inflammation among many other benefits. We will also look at examples such as bananas and how they contain fiber which helps improve digestion and disease prevention, as well as contain Vitamins C and B6. We will finish with an open discussion about how to incorporate fruits into our diets as well as menu ideas.
